weekend away

Its almost been a full week since I've been back from my Fabulous February vacation away from school and all the kids and I still cant seem to get back into things. I've started to work for real now though, taking some time and actually coming up with some packets for them to do. I have to start focusing on my work if I want to be there next year. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for something good. Maybe a classroom of my own? annd maybe in the first grade?! I hope so, they're the only kids that wont pick on me for looking young.

Taking another break this weekend to continue our celebration for the birthday boys. Jaycen and Johnny's birthday dinner was at Medieval Manor which was something new to most of us. It was a fun experience and something I would try again, but not in the near future. Taking a breather on the slopes this weekend at Mt. Sunapee. I'm looking forward to bruising and possibly breaking parts of my body trying to attempt this sport of snowboarding. However, everyone will be rewarded at the end of the night with some delicious food and fun with none other than, alcohol and junk food.

However, I will have to be back at school on Monday again, and prepping the kids for MCAS. Strapping them down and really hitting them hard with all the pressure. I dont remember when we had to stress about MCAS that much. These poor little 4th graders.

Next major event to look forward to? A preview to our summer fun, our cruise to Mexico. I guess I can start my countdown for it now that the date is creeping up on us. I'm so excited! Leaving with smiles once again. I kind of like feeling like this! :) :) :)
